Today, I embarked on a long-awaited journey, strolling alone through the familiar yet unfamiliar streets of Taipei.
The melodious chirping of birds and the rustle of the wind seemed to embrace me, comforting and soothing. The Metro shuttled through the city's underground, traversing bustling neighborhoods. At this moment, the city appeared as a tranquil oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, offering me a moment of serenity.
I checked into the hotel with my sponge bag and reusable bottle, marking the beginning of this journey. Stepping into the room, sunlight streamed through the curtains, casting a lazy atmosphere over the space. Before setting out for adventure, I meandered around the hotel, sipping on refreshing sparkling water and nibbling on cookies in the lounge, allowing myself to drift away for a while. I foolishly fell into a world of imagination, all by myself.

Thud, thud, thud~ I seem to hear the sound of my own footsteps, briskly walking on the streets, stairs, and grass. There's a moment when our eyes meet with passersby. Did they just catch a glimpse of me dancing joyfully moments ago? I think, feeling embarrassed.
I have reduced material desires and made room for spiritual growth. The challenges of the past now appear clearer and more transparent. Through a solitary exploration of sustainable green travel, I have come to appreciate life more and feel a greater sense of fulfillment.
